I use an iPhone 15 Pro for this tutorial. I use a 9th generation iPad – that is no longer available to buy and that I bought for $100 off on Black Friday – and the instructions are fairly similar. The 10th generation iPad is still available this year for $100 off.

1. Start by downloading a photo widget app. The native Apple Photos app doesn’t work because it doesn’t support single images. Instead it will rotate all of your photos.
I used the app PhotoWidget for this tutorial, but chose to your liking.

2. Select the plus sign (if you are using a different app I would suggest searching ((name of app)) + add photo to Home Screen). Then choose the appropriate photo.

3. Press and hold the Home Screen where your icons are and select the plus sign at the top left of the screen.

4. Search for your photo widget app.

5. Select the middle size widget and select Add Widget.

6. After you return to the Home Screen select the widget App

7. Then chose the photo widget you previously saved.

8. Select Home
